Comments: Highlander’s progeny results speak for themselves. Purrumbete Highlander and Purrumbete Ledgers Dream progeny have won Supreme Champion at 6 of the 8 Australian Alpaca Associations National Show and Sale.
As Australians all time favourite grandfather, he is responsible for producing many of Australia’s top stud progeny. His progeny display all the following consistent desirable traits, conformation, density, fine crimpy fleece, and an arrogance stamped “Highlander”. Highlander’s progeny will become increasingly difficult to obtain.

Breeders Notes: Highlander arrived in Australia in 1990 as a working male, his age is assumed. It has become apparent that most males hold the micron statistics firm from the age of 7 years and will only decrease with illness. Since diagnosis of Highlander’s illness a decision has been made to use him for in house services at Windsong Valley.
